How are you all doing? I hope all is well and I have missed being on here. Every time I sit down to blog life just gets busy for me. So basically I have been spending time with family and recovering from surgery. I had surgery 3 weeks ago. I had a hysterectomy done that consisted of removing all tubes, right ovary, cervix and the uterus. I only have the left ovary that way I don't go into menopause at the age of 32. It was a very emotional time when I was told this procedure had to be done. I actually felt depressed and alone. I do have my hubby, kids, family & friends but it was just something I felt even though I wasn't alone at all. I have 3 kids and my hubby already had a vasectomy done almost 5 years ago, so we were not planning on any more kids. I still had that feeling of having the choice of having a baby being taken away. I'm happy and content where my family life stands and where I want my life to go with YouTube and my freelance career as a makeup artist. I still felt though, at the time, I was losing control of my life. So my hubby does the greatest thing. He decides I need retail therapy :) He made me laugh a lot and made jokes to lighten the mood and it worked.
My surgery was scheduled for April 9,2013 @3pm. It went well and I stayed over night. I can say that its not the same feeling you get after giving birth. I was in pain and discomfort. I could barely walk and even walking to the bathroom 3feet away was a marathon for me. Wally (hubby) took a week off from work to take care of me around the clock. I cried and got very emotional but I was so happy that Wally took care of everything at home with the kids, dogs, household and still worked from home. I'm still recovering and not so much in pain like before but I'm getting there. Well the reason I needed this procedure was because I had heavy periods that accompanied it with labor pains. You saw right, LABOR PAINS!! I had this going on for 2 years until this amazing doctor named Dr. Bulow was able to diagnose what I had. I had Adenomyosis which is endometriosis on the muscle of the uterus. Having that causes a lot of issues for a woman and can only be treated certain ways.
Would I go through this again? Yeah I would so my future is pain free and no more visits from Aunt Flow :)
I urge every teen and women to get checked and get a second, third or how many opinions you need to get so a doctor can tell you what's wrong. I was told by 3 different doctors that nothing was wrong and that I was that small percentage of women who had heavy periods and bad cramping. So now that I basically told you my life update lets move on to upcoming videos and when they will be available.
So the last time I uploaded videos was 3 weeks ago and so I have been gone too long. I'm planning on recording more videos next week but I'm thinking maybe by the end of this week. I am planning on doing a video with my hubby. he finally agreed :) I'm super excited for that and also need to do reviews on BB creams and CC cream.
